Job summary

Micro Matic USA, Inc. seeks an Engineering Documentation Specialist to create drawings, specifications, BOMs and instructions that convey design intent to stakeholders. You’ll collaborate with Product Engineering and Production to implement changes and drive project delivery.

The role requires CAD/3D modeling, Autodesk Inventor proficiency, ERP experience, and strong GD&T practices, with attention to cost analysis and quality characteristics.

Qualifications

• Solid knowledge of various engineering disciplines, procedures, and policies is required.
• Drafting/GD&T best practices knowledge.
• ERP experience required.
• Demonstrated project skills.
• Strong decision-making skills is a must.
• 3D CAD skills, Autodesk Inventor required.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with the Product Engineering team to create the documentation.
• Drawings.
• Collaborate with Production to support requests that require engineering changes.
• Manages projects efficiently and timely.
• Evaluates New/Changes and seek feedback from internal and external Customers.
• Supports and provides input into Cost Analysis.
• Collaborate with Production to create/develop preliminary routes and work instructions.
• Collaborates with Quality Department to identify on the specification the critical characteristics/features that are essential to the function of the product.
• Performs these and other duties as assigned.
