SaidGig is hiring for a role focused on applying mechanical design and CAD expertise to train AI systems for complex engineering challenges. You will interpret GD&T, tolerance stack-ups, manufacturability, and drawing release, while reviewing AI-generated responses for accuracy.

Remote contract engagement with compensation ranging from $60 to $130 per hour. Candidates should have 5+ years of production design experience and proficiency in SolidWorks, Creo, NX, CATIA, or Inventor.

Formación

• MS or BS in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace, or Industrial Design.
• At least 5 years of production design experience with GD&T, tolerance stacks, and drawing release.
• Expertise in parametric CAD modeling and ASME Y14.5.
• Experience carrying a design from concept to production release.

Responsabilidades

• Evaluate and solve advanced mechanical design and CAD problems including GD&T and tolerances.
• Review AI-generated technical responses for engineering quality.
• Use engineering judgment for production design scenarios.
• Analyze tolerance stack-up and GD&T per ASME Y14.5 in design reviews.
• Provide domain feedback to improve AI reasoning in mechanical design and CAD.
• Communicate clearly in writing and verbally with distributed experts remotely.
