Job summary

This full-time position requires a High School Diploma or GED and at least two years of drafting experience or an equivalent mix of training.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED plus 2+ years of drafting, mechanical drawing, and computer design work.
• Organize, prioritize and coordinate multiple activities to meet deadlines.
• Communicate effectively with engineers, vendors and staff.
• Proficient use of drafting software (AutoCAD, Illustrator, Autodesk Inventor, Titan).
• Apply basic design math and maintain accuracy in drawings.

Responsibilities

• Drafts and produces shop drawings for signage or structure fabrication.
• Interacts with engineers to interpret concepts and determine detail requirements.
• Creates router files for the Layout Department.
• Researches and recommends new materials and hardware for signage or structures.
• Prints or compiles shop drawing packages for dissemination.
