Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Desire to enroll in the YESCO or other apprenticeship program.
• Basic experience with power tools is a plus.
• Willingness to pursue a 3G Welding certificate.
• Ability to read, interpret diagrams and measurements.

Responsibilities

• Translate plans and diagrams into precise cut materials for sign parts.
• Operate and program metal cutting and welding equipment to shape parts.
• Weld and assemble sign components.
• Plan and prepare materials to minimize waste.
• Finish surfaces, apply paint touch-ups, and detailing.
• Prepare sign structures and wiring preparations.
• Adhere to safety and quality control procedures.
• Perform maintenance on sheet metal equipment as needed.
