Job summary

Oldcastle Infrastructure, a CRH company, seeks a CAD Drafter to prepare and modify drawings per specifications and customer requirements at North Carolina plants (Raleigh, Greensboro, Fuquay Varina, Fayetteville, or Concord).

You will maintain catalog drawings for production, work with Division Engineer, Sales, Production, and Quality Control to ensure accuracy against latest drawings, and support the digital library and web catalog with up-to-date documentation.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret sketches, construction, and civil plans.
• Proficiency creating 2D/3D drawings per specifications and customer requirements.
• Familiarity with catalog drawings and digital libraries for websites.

Responsibilities

• Create Shop Drawings of products using 2D or 3D drafting.
• Create special manufacturing drawings for immediate production.
• Adhere to internal and external volumes, timelines and expectations.
• Prepare, modify, and maintain accurate catalog drawings for production and QA.
• Prepare product assembly or shop drawings for sales staff and plant projects.
• Update/maintain digital database (Autodesk Vault, cloud server).
• Other duties may be assigned as needed.
