Job summary

Hubbell Incorporated is seeking a Design Drafter to create and update detailed 2D and 3D drawings and supporting documentation for components and assemblies. You will translate engineering concepts into precise drawings, apply tolerances, and maintain SAP BOMs while collaborating with engineering, manufacturing, and other teams.

The role requires an associate degree or equivalent experience, strong CAD proficiency (AutoCAD, Inventor, SolidWorks), and the ability to work in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• Proficiency in drafting principles and engineering documentation standards.
• Ability to produce accurate 2D/3D drawings with clear communication of geometry.
• Experience with 2D/3D CAD software and BOMs in SAP is a plus.
• Strong computer skills including Word and Excel; good time management.

Responsibilities

• Create, revise, and maintain high-quality 2D/3D drawings for components and assemblies.
• Plan views/sections/details to clearly communicate part geometry.
• Apply precise dimensions and tolerances to complex drawings.
• Review drawings for accuracy and release readiness.
• Create/maintain BOMs in SAP and manage revision control.
• Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing to meet customer needs.
