Micro Matic USA, Inc. seeks an Engineering Documentation Specialist to create drawings, specifications, BOMs and instructions that convey design intent to stakeholders. You’ll collaborate with Product Engineering and Production to implement changes and drive project delivery.
The role requires CAD/3D modeling, Autodesk Inventor proficiency, ERP experience, and strong GD&T practices, with attention to cost analysis and quality characteristics.
SUMMARY: This position has the primary responsibility of supporting the Engineering Development effort with drawings, specifications, BOMs, instructions, and other required documentation to support the communication of the design intent to stakeholders.
High School diploma with 5+ years relevant experience or degree/certification using CAD/3D modeling with 3+ years’ experience required.
Ability to read, comprehend instructions, correspondence and memos, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports and business correspondence. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
Must be able to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
Must be able to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Must have the ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
