Job summary

Preformed Line Products is seeking a Design Drafter to develop, detail, and revise parts, assemblies, and drawings for new product development and customer support. You will work with Creo, Windchill PDM, AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and 3D printing software to produce accurate CAD models and documentation.

You will collaborate with engineers and other departments to ensure proper documentation of design files, manage multiple priorities, and contribute to artistic graphics for quotes and catalogs using

Qualifications

• Associate degree in mechanical drafting, engineering technology or equivalent experience.
• 0–10 years of modeling/drafting experience with 3D and 2D CAD software.
• Experience with PTC Creo and Windchill preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed drawings and solid models for new product development and customer support.
• Control CAD and engineering files in Windchill PDM.
• Prepare exploded view assembly drawings of complex products.
• Lead work output among team members and manage priorities.
• Create graphic material for quotations, application sheets, and catalogs.
