Job summary

Hunter Douglas, Inc. is seeking a CAD Drafter to create and maintain accurate 2D drawings from engineering 3D models. You will apply company drawing standards and collaborate with engineering to ensure documentation meets functional and quality requirements.

You will leverage SolidWorks to develop efficient models, mentor others, and support PDM workflows using SAP ECTR. Onsite in Colorado, with competitive compensation and benefits.

Qualifications

• 2-year associate degree in drafting or CAD or comparable professional experience
• SolidWorks proficiency required
• Knowledge of ANSI drafting techniques
• Experience using metrology instruments and tolerances

Responsibilities

• Create accurate 2D drawings from 3D models following HunterDouglas standards
• Identify critical dimensions and tolerance stackups for assemblies
• Assist with 3D modeling of window shade components as needed
• Promote SolidWorks best practices and drafting workflows
• Mentor engineers on SolidWorks techniques and workflows
• Use SAP ECTR for PDM of engineering data
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of released drawings
• Support continuous drafting standard improvements
• Perform tolerance stack-up calculations
• Assist in reverse engineering and measurement of components
