Job summary

Preformed Line Products in Mayfield Village, OH seeks a Design Drafter to develop, detail, and revise parts and assemblies for new products and customer support using Creo, Windchill PDM, AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and 3D printing software.

You will document designs, manage CAD files, and prepare exploded view drawings while collaborating with engineers to ensure accurate documentation and robust product data.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in mechanical drafting, engineering technology, or equivalent.
• Experience with 3D/2D CAD software.
• Creo and Windchill experience preferred.
• Proficient with Word and Excel.
• Able to create 3D models and 2D drawings.
• CAD file control in PDM.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed drawings and solid models for new product development and customer support.
• Control CAD and engineering files in Windchill PDM.
• Prepare exploded view assembly drawings of complex products.
• Collaborate with engineers and departments to document design documents.
• Operate Creo, Windchill PDM, AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and 3D printing software.
• Maintain and control CAD/drafting files.
