Randstad USA is seeking a CAD Drafter for a 6-month contract-to-hire role in Saint Joseph, MO. The ideal candidate holds an Associates degree in a CAD discipline and has 1–2 years of experience with blueprints and steel calculations.

The position offers long-term growth within a team that truly invests in you. Detail drawings, erection plans, and steel fabrication components are core responsibilities, with a typical 8am–5pm schedule on site.

• Detail building components and generate fabrication drawings from designs and specs.

Responsibilities

• Detail building components and generate fabrication drawings using engineering designs and project specifications.
• Create erection, approval, permit, and anchor rod drawings for steel construction projects.
• Perform mathematical calculations, including algebra and trigonometry, to ensure detailing accuracy.
• Upload and manage part data within the manufacturing system to facilitate releases to production.
• Collaborate with project teams to resolve technical challenges and ensure cost-effective engineering solutions.
