Randstad USA is seeking a CAD Drafter for a 6-month contract-to-hire role in Saint Joseph, MO. The ideal candidate holds an Associates degree in a CAD discipline and has 1–2 years of experience with blueprints and steel calculations.

The position offers long-term growth within a team that truly invests in you. Detail drawings, erection plans, and steel fabrication components are core responsibilities, with a typical 8am–5pm schedule on site.

Qualifications

Associate or 2-year technical degree in a CAD discipline.
1–2 years of experience with blueprints and steel calculations.
Detail building components and generate fabrication drawings from designs and specs.

Responsibilities

Detail building components and generate fabrication drawings using engineering designs and project specifications.
Create erection, approval, permit, and anchor rod drawings for steel construction projects.
Perform mathematical calculations, including algebra and trigonometry, to ensure detailing accuracy.
Upload and manage part data within the manufacturing system to facilitate releases to production.
Collaborate with project teams to resolve technical challenges and ensure cost-effective engineering solutions.
