Job summary

Randstad USA client in Kansas City, MO seeks a CAD Drafter for a direct-hire role. Requires an Associate degree in CAD or a technical discipline and 2–3 years' experience to interpret blueprints and perform structural calculations. 8am–5pm, permanent position with solid growth potential.

Responsibilities include producing steel erection drawings, detailing parts, and uploading data to the manufacturing system while collaborating with project teams.

Qualifications

• Experience interpreting blueprints and performing structural calculations.
• Ability to work with steel detailing and fabrication drawings.

• Perform mathematical calculations using algebra and trigonometry to ensure accurate project detailing.
• Edit and upload component data into the manufacturing system for release to production.
• Collaborate with cross-functional project teams to resolve technical challenges and maintain schedules.
