Job summary

Randstad USA seeks a skilled drafter for a 6-month contract-to-hire role in steel building solutions in Kansas City, MO. You will produce detailed shop, fabrication, and erection drawings for PEMB and structural steel using CAD tools.

Requirements include an Associates degree or 2+ years CAD experience and a minimum of 3 years drafting experience. The position operates 8am–5pm on-site, with compensation of $26–$27 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Detail connections, anchor bolts, framing layouts, and panel systems using CAD software.
• Perform algebraic and trigonometric calculations to ensure drafting accuracy and precision.
• Collaborate with engineering, fabrication, and project management teams to deliver cost‑effective solutions on schedule.
