Job summary

Express in New York is seeking a CAD Designer to develop textile designs and artwork for textiles, knits, and graphics using CAD systems and design software. You will translate trends into prints and work closely with design and production teams to deliver production-ready files.

The ideal candidate has 5–7 years of design experience, proficiency in Illustrator and Photoshop, and a strong sense of color and pattern repetition.

Qualifications

5-7 years in a design-related field with CAD/PLM experience.
Associate degree in fine art, design, or related field preferred.
Ability to illustrate and create artwork and prints.

Responsibilities

Develop textile designs, patterns, and color variations using CAD systems, Illustrator, Photoshop, and other design tools.
Prepare or review final designs, creating production-ready files for external vendors.
Stay updated on trends in textiles and graphics, incorporating these insights into design work.
Collaborate with design and production teams to translate trends into prints and graphics.
Manage multiple projects, ensuring alignment with timelines and cross-functional communication.
