Job summary

American Exchange Group in New York is seeking a CAD Designer for Screen Print & Production Artwork to create screen prints, placement graphics, and engineered artwork for Juniors apparel in the off-price market. You will CAD artwork from direction, create silhouettes, and deliver production-ready files.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Design, 5+ years CAD in apparel, strong print/placement knowledge, and expert Illustrator/Photoshop skills.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Design or related field.
5+ years CAD experience in apparel production, Juniors preferred.
Proven experience creating screen prints for apparel.
Strong print scale, placement, and production knowledge.
Ability to CAD garment silhouettes for placement.
Excellent attention to color accuracy and detail.
Expert proficiency in Illustrator and Photoshop.
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Portfolio showing screen prints and placement artwork on garments.

Responsibilities

CAD & Print Execution: Create screen prints, placement graphics, panels, and engineered artwork.
Color & Production Setup: Build colorways, prepare color separations, deliver production-ready files.
Production Support & Collaboration: Create print packs and work with Design/Production teams.
Organization & Workflow: Manage multiple CAD projects with high accuracy and timing.
