PHOENIX Retail, LLC is seeking a CAD Designer for the New York Office to develop and refine textile, knit, and graphic designs using CAD systems, Illustrator, Photoshop and other tools. You will translate trends into prints and graphics, collaborating closely with design and production teams.

The role emphasizes a strong eye for detail, brand understanding, and ability to manage multiple projects against deadlines while maintaining documentation and coordinating with external vendors.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years in a design-related field with CAD, PLM and digital design tools.
• Associate degree in fine art, design, or related field preferred.
• Ability to illustrate and create artwork and prints.

Responsibilities

• Develop textile designs, patterns and color variations using CAD, Illustrator and Photoshop.
• Prepare final designs, production-ready files for external vendors.
• Stay updated on trends in textiles and graphics and apply to design work.
• Collaborate with design team to develop seasonal print stories and color palettes.
• Manage multiple projects and communicate progress to cross-functional teams.
• Review designs for quality and specifications before final approval.
• Maintain documentation of design process, files and revisions.
• Coordinate with external print vendors based on seasonal calendar.
