Job Summary:

As a CAD Designer, you will create wireless infrastructure project plans and drawings using AutoCAD for new site builds, modifications, right-of-way sites, and related items.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Design and draft zoning and construction drawings, site plans, and redline corrections for wireless siting.
• Coordinate with team members and other offices regarding plan readiness.
• Communicate drawing status and schedules to Project Managers and team members.
• Self-direct and prioritize workload effectively.
• Maintain organization and attention to detail.

Job Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Willingness to work overtime as needed.
• Ability to perform field surveys and permit tasks when cross-training opportunities arise.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.

Education and Experience:

• 3-5 years of experience with AutoCAD.
• Experience in telecommunications design is required.
• Formal CAD education from trade school or equivalent.
• Basic knowledge of civil, electrical, mechanical, and/or structural disciplines.
• Experience with wireless, outside plant, and inside plant fiber optic design.

Pay rates vary based on skills, background, experience, and location.
