Job Overview

Location: Franklin, PA

This role is essential for developing, maintaining, and improving electronic assemblies and products, ensuring they meet efficiency, compliance, and innovation standards while supporting cross-functional engineering and business teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, maintain, and support electronic assemblies, products, and services based on market demands and process improvements.
  • Conduct engineering evaluations, investigations, calculations, and tests with defined requirements and outcomes.
  • Participate in learning and development opportunities to benefit personal and organizational growth.
  • Collaborate with engineers to complete design documentation on time and according to specifications.
  • Communicate engineering issues effectively to ensure compliance with global standards and best practices.
  • Support process improvements in engineering design, development, and maintenance activities.
  • Perform product support tasks in collaboration with sales, service, supply chain, operations, quality, and suppliers.
Predominant Tasks
  • Prepare design layouts, models, and specifications under engineer supervision.
  • Assist in setting up and conducting engineering tests.
  • Learn relevant engineering calculations for design modifications and development.
  • Support project work and understand global regulations and safety requirements.
  • Maintain design information in SAP, ensuring accuracy and updates.
  • Assist in creating technical reports and service bulletins.
  • Familiarize with electronics subcontractor capabilities and documentation practices.
  • Participate in lifecycle activities of electronic assemblies.
Qualifications/Requirements
  • Associate's degree in Technology or related experience.
  • Experience in machine design or mining industry is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in CAD tools preferred.
  • Experience with change management and team projects beneficial.
  • Subscription to CAD publications is a plus.
