Job summary

PSG, a Dover company, is seeking a CAD Designer to join our engineering team in Grand Rapids. You will create 3D/2D components and assemblies, prepare accurate BOMs, and support product documentation for both new and existing products.

The ideal candidate has an associate degree and at least five years of related experience, strong SolidWorks skills, GD&T knowledge, and familiarity with Oracle ERP. You will collaborate with Sales, Quality and Manufacturing on global programs.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school.
• 5 years related experience and/or training.

Responsibilities

• Review engineering drawings and assemblies using CAD techniques.
• Design custom products using SolidWorks to meet design specifications.
• Create and maintain Bill of Materials and ERP item master.
• Release Engineering Change Notices and manage ECN process.
• Transfer product data into ERP and maintain item data.
• Maintain SolidWorks PDM file system.
• Collaborate with Sales, Quality and Manufacturing on projects.
