Job description

We are seeking a highly skilled SolidWorks CAD/Modeler Drafter proficient in SolidWorks 2024 to join our team. In this role you will collaborate with engineers, designers, and project managers to create accurate and detailed technical drawings of the company's products to establish technical specifications, following design and standard practices and drafting concepts within the manufacturing industry.

An onsite skill assessment/test will be administered.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop detailed 2D and 3D technical drawings, models, and assemblies using SolidWorks 2024.
• Create and maintain comprehensive design documentation, including Bills of Materials (BOMs), exploded views, and annotations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure designs meet project specifications, timelines, and budgets.
• Perform design revisions and updates based on feedback or engineering change requests.
• Conduct feasibility studies and simulations using SolidWorks tools to validate design integrity and performance.
• Ensure compliance with applicable standards, codes, and internal design guidelines.
• Maintain organized file management within the ERP system to ensure data accuracy and accessibility.
• Implement all necessary procedures required for ISO compliance.
• Other related duties as assigned by management or as developed due to business necessity and growth.

Expected Skill Level

• Proficiency in SolidWorks 2024, including advanced modeling, simulation, and rendering tools.
• Proven experience in drafting and design for relevant industries such as manufacturing, aerospace, automotive, etc.
