Job summary

Allegion is seeking a CAD Designer to support Capital Projects & Automation in Princeton, IL. You will update plant layouts in AutoCAD, develop 2D drawings from 3D models, and work with engineers and maintenance on new fixtures and equipment design.

You will apply Creo and Fusion 360 skills, ensure manufacturability, and assist with on-site layout markups for equipment moves. Some travel is required; on-site work at LCN is expected.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or 5+ years relevant work experience.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD and Creo required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain & update plant layout drawings in AutoCAD.
• Collaborate with project engineers, manufacturing engineers, tool room & maintenance.
• Generate 2D drawings from 3D models for manufacturing.
• Provide design concepts focused on manufacturability and integrity.
• Assist with layout markups on the floor for equipment moves.
