Job summary

Alexander Associates Technical Recruitment is seeking a Civil CAD Designer for our Houston operation. The role involves producing detailed civil drawings and 3D models for Land Development, Public Works or Facilities projects, collaborating with engineers and project managers to deliver accurate construction documents.

You will develop grading and drainage plans, create pipe networks, and revise drawings per reviews while maintaining organized files and ensuring compliance with standards.

Qualifications

• Previous CAD design experience within civil engineering.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
• Experience supporting Land Development, Public Works or Facilities projects.
• Understanding of civil engineering plans and construction documents.
• Strong attention to detail and drawing accuracy.
• Ability to manage several assignments and meet project deadlines.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
• An associate degree in Drafting, Engineering Technology or a related discipline would be beneficial.

Salary: $65,000-$100,000, depending on experience

Job Specifications:
