Job summary

Trane Technologies in Lexington, KY is seeking an engineering CAD designer to create parts, layouts and drawings for HVAC products. You will work with engineering and use Creo Parametric to produce 2D and 3D designs, supporting documentation and BOM data across multiple systems.

The role requires 3+ years in drafting with SolidWorks/Creo tools, strong attention to detail, and effective teamwork. The position is onsite with opportunities to collaborate across teams and meet project deadlines.

Qualifications

• AA in Drafting or Design Tech with 3+ years experience.
• Proficient in SolidWorks, Creo Parametric, Creo Schematics, Inventor or Pro/Engineer.
• Strong attention to detail and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Create parts, assemblies and layouts in Creo Parametric.
• Develop designs and documentation using PLM systems.
• Produce supporting documentation across multiple systems.
• Apply knowledge of CAD standards for HVAC components.
• Translate instructions into 2D drawings and 3D models.
• Support other departments with drawing data and design questions.
