The role involves producing drawings, 3D models, and assemblies, interpreting notes, and collaborating with sales, project management, customers, and shop personnel to ensure feasibility and timely release.

Qualifications

• 3D modeling proficiency
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings
• Strong collaboration with internal/external stakeholders

Responsibilities

• Independently produce accurate drawings, models, and assemblies
• Interpret engineering notes and sketches to resolve design-related issues
• Work with other engineering disciplines, Project Management, customer representatives and shop personnel to ensure designs meet requirements
• Verify scope of special requirements and coordinate with sales on design feasibility
• Coordinate drawing approval, revisions, and fabrication release with project managers and sales
• Create GA and detail drawings using Autodesk Inventor
• Review customer approval drawing comments for change impacts
• Verify BOM and advise purchasing on material releases
