Job summary

Audubon Companies is seeking a Piping Designer III to join our Tulsa team. You will design piping equipment, components, structures or systems, prepare detailed drawings, and support field surveys.

The role requires 10+ years of experience, AutoCAD, CADWorx and PDMS proficiency, and offshore/onshore hydrocarbon sector knowledge. The position involves creating BOMs, managing change control, and delivering drawings within project schedules.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associate’s Degree from a Technical Institution preferred.
• Minimum of 10+ years of experience preferred.
• AutoCAD software experience required.
• CADWorx and PDMS software experience preferred.
• Microsoft Office software experience preferred.
• Field experience required.
• Experience in offshore oil & gas, onshore gas processing, hydrocarbon storage and transportation, chemical manufacturing or refining industry required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed drawings of parts and assemblies from layouts, designs and working drawings including projections, sectional views and specifications.
• Interpret directions to initiate a preliminary design.
• Assist with stress analysis, procurement, calculations, and estimates.
• Check and verify accuracy of drawings prepared by others.
• Prepare BOMs and procurement specifications when drawings are complete.
• Implement revisions and change control per company standards.
• Assemble information and reference drawings from multiple sources.
• Design components or portions of systems and modify existing designs.
• Use 2D/3D CAD software to create layouts of piping systems and fabrication drawings.
• Create documentation to process Engineering Change Orders (ECO).
• Identify dimensions, tolerances and materials for optimal construction.
• Analyze proposed changes for fit and interference and propose solutions.
