Job summary

The Ross Group Construction Corporation in Tulsa, OK is seeking a Mechanical Designer II to provide mechanical design services for midstream oil and gas, industrial and commercial clients. You will produce CAD drawings from conceptual design through to completed engineering, coordinating with other disciplines and construction personnel.

The role requires 3-6 years of piping design/drafting experience, strong AutoCAD 2024 and CADWorx2023 skills, plus familiarity with Navisworx 3D piping

Qualifications

• 3-6 years of piping design/drafting experience required.
• Ability to plan, organize and communicate with team members and client representatives.
• Willingness to work extended hours to meet deadlines.
• Travel approximately 10% as needed to support projects.

Responsibilities

• Provide piping design for a variety of clients and coordinate with lead piping designer and lead engineers.
• Develop design and construction documents including PFDs, P&IDs, plans, sections, piping drawings, details, isometrics and BOMs.
• Ensure cost, customer service, quality, schedule and safety considerations are incorporated from start to finish.
• Address questions and issues during construction.
• Maintain internal and external networks to stay informed on new developments in the field.
