Job summary

Audubon Companies in Tulsa seeks a Piping Designer III to join our team. You will design piping equipment, components and systems, preparing detailed drawings and BOMs while incorporating changes and field data.

Ideal candidates have 10+ years in piping design, strong AutoCAD CADWorx PDMS skills, and field experience. This on-site role requires adherence to HSSE standards and coordination with clients and vendors.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associate’s Degree from a technical institution preferred.
• Minimum of 10+ years of experience preferred.
• AutoCAD software experience required.
• CADWorx and PDMS software experience preferred.
• Microsoft Office software experience preferred.
• Field experience required.
• Experience in offshore oil & gas, onshore gas processing, hydrocarbon storage and transportation, chemical manufacturing or refining industry required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed drawings of parts and assemblies from layouts, designs and working drawings including projections and sections.
• Interpret verbal or written directions to initiate a preliminary design.
• Assist with stress analysis, equipment procurement, calculations and estimates.
• Check and verify accuracy of drawings prepared by others.
• Prepare BOMs, procurement lists and specifications when drawings are complete.
• Revise drawings and BOM as engineering changes occur.
• Create layouts of piping systems using 2D or 3D CAD software.
• Ensure documentation aligns with HSSE standards and project schedules.
