Job summary

Thermo Bond Buildings LLC seeks a Designer 1 to create building drawings for telecom projects using AutoCAD, with training in Autodesk Inventor.

You will read prints, communicate with Sales and customers, and collaborate with Engineering, Purchasing and manufacturing to produce final designs and BoMs.

This is a full-time salaried role with opportunities to contribute to production facility prints and ongoing project requirements.

Qualifications

• 0–3 years experience in mechanical/electrical drafting.
• Basic knowledge of AutoCAD, Inventor and/or SolidWorks and MS Office.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work with limited supervision.

Responsibilities

• Interface with Sales to develop initial prints from customer specs and iterate through feedback.
• Provide final design drawings communicating requirements to manufacturing.
• Develop prints of TBB production facilities for modification as needs evolve.
• Work with Integration, Electrical and Engineering to verify print detail.
• Coordinate with Purchasing on material options for project requirements.
