Job summary
Skill in partnership with Aquent Talent seeks a CAD Designer for a temporary assignment in a manufacturing environment. You will create and refine detailed CAD drawings and models, supporting engineering and production teams to translate concepts into manufacturable parts.
The role involves hands-on drafting, tolerance considerations, and adherence to industry standards. Entry-level CAD experience with Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD is preferred.
Qualifications
- Entry-level CAD design or drafting experience.
- Working knowledge of Autodesk Inventor.
- Basic CAD drafting and design experience.
- Proficiency in creating and modifying engineering drawings and models.
Responsibilities
- Create and modify CAD models and engineering drawings for various projects.
- Support engineering and manufacturing teams through drafting and design activities.
- Prepare and maintain design layouts, production drawings, and related documentation, adhering to industry standards.
- Assist with tolerance analysis and drawing updates as needed.
- Prepare mechanical layouts using CAD systems.
- Develop and maintain mechanical, electrical, and electronic product drawings from layouts or sketches.
- Ensure the accuracy of design assignments.
