Job summary

Litania Sports Group is seeking a CAD Designer in Champaign, IL to design custom indoor sports equipment, including basketball backstops and divider curtains. You will create CAD assemblies, production drawings, and layouts from architectural plans and customer requirements, ensuring manufacturability and proper installation.

You will collaborate with sales, engineering, and manufacturing to refine designs, generate BOMs, and support project execution.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret architectural plans and specifications.
• Experience with CAD software and engineering drawings.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Teams, Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Ability to manage multiple projects with accuracy and quality.

Responsibilities

• Review architectural plans and customer-provided sketches.
• Design custom products and equipment layouts using CAD software.
• Create detailed drawings and assemblies for manufacturing and installation.
• Evaluate designs for safety, functionality, manufacturability, and cost.
• Generate BOMs and release designs to production.
• Collaborate with sales, engineering, and manufacturing.
