Job summary

Litania Sports Group is seeking a CAD Designer to develop custom indoor sports equipment, including backstops and divider systems, from architectural plans to production drawings. This full‑time, onsite role in Champaign, IL, focuses on creating detailed CAD assemblies and BOMs for manufacturing and installation.

The Designer will collaborate with sales and engineering, ensure safety and manufacturability, and support field installations.

Qualifications

Ability to read and understand architectural plans and specifications.
Experience with SolidWorks or similar 3D CAD modeling software.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to develop practical design solutions from incomplete or complex information.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Teams, Excel, Word, and Outlook.
Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize deadlines, and maintain accuracy and quality.

Responsibilities

Review and interpret architectural plans and customer sketches.
Design custom products and equipment layouts using CAD tooling.
Develop detailed drawings and assemblies for manufacturing and installation.
Evaluate designs for safety, functionality, appearance, manufacturability, serviceability, and cost.
Modify designs based on customer requests and project changes.
Collaborate with sales, engineering, and customers to ensure success.
Generate BOMs and release designs to production.
Maintain project documentation in company systems.
