Job summary

Qualifications

• AAS CAD or Engineering Technology or equivalent education or experience.
• Four years of electric utility or related drafting experience without an AAS degree.

Responsibilities

• Develop and coordinate design drawings and sketches.
• Prepare and analyze calculations and conduct design studies.
• Carry to completion drawings and related information for construction.
• Check manufacturers' drawings and shop details; exchange information with other design groups.
• Coordinate and review the work of others and prepare material and cost estimates.
• Lead training for staff in basic skills of the position.
