Job summary

Maxcess International is seeking an experienced CAD Designer to create complex 2D and 3D drawings for slitting systems. You will prototype, run simulations, and collaborate with engineers to refine designs and optimize manufacturing processes.

The role requires 2–5 years of related CAD drafting experience, an associate degree or technical certification, and proficiency in Inventor and SolidWorks. Onsite duties and travel up to 10% are expected.

Qualifications

• 2–5 yrs related experience and Associate’s degree or Technical Certification in CAD Drafting & Design required.
• Competent in Windows OS and MS Office applications.
• Proficient with Autodesk Inventor 2020 or newer and SolidWorks.

Responsibilities

• Create complex drawings and 2D/3D CAD models for mechanical systems.
• Develop detailed layouts and schematics and ensure accuracy to specs.
• Prototype, simulate, and validate designs to optimize performance.
• Coordinate with engineers to refine designs and incorporate features.
• Mentor Level One CAD Designers and share best practices.
• Assist in project planning and manage design tasks to deadlines.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
