Job Description:

We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented CAD Designer with 3 years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in using CAD software to create detailed technical drawings and plans. Responsibilities include collaborating with engineers to develop designs, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry standards, and making necessary revisions based on feedback. The role requires strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Experience in Oil & Gas is preferred.

CAD Designer Duties:

• Must show work samples demonstrating AutoCAD proficiency.
• Create and analyze detailed CAD drawings and designs.
• Develop and maintain CAD design standards for the company.
• Prepare detailed construction documents.
• Assist in maintenance, turnover, and field layout of projects.
• Create 2D, 3D, and isometric drawings.
• Create renderings and animations.
• Generate 3D files from plans.
• Create 3D drawings from 2D sketches.
• Generate documentation or manuals from 3D models.
• Generate certificates from 3D models.
• Work with team members on projects.
• Have an understanding of construction documentation.

CAD Designer Responsibilities:

• Pass an AutoCAD proficiency test.
• Understand construction documentation.
• Provide input for project documentation including sketches, proposals, budgets, schedules, and plans.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project team members during planning.
• Create 3D models of proposed layouts.
• Translate 2D concepts into 3D renderings and animations.
• Revise detailed 2D plans, elevations, and 3D views.
• Use CAD software to produce 2D drawings and 3D models.
• Coordinate with inspectors to ensure compliance with local codes.
• Coordinate with contractors for scheduling and delivery.
• Maintain communication with all project stakeholders.
• Perform other duties as assigned, including reviews of drawings and specifications.

Requirements And Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in architecture, engineering, or related field.
• Solid knowledge of drafting and rendering techniques.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe InDesign.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Experience in the Oil and Gas industry is preferred.
