JOB REQUIREMENTS: LDV, Inc. is the world leader in the manufacture of custom specialty vehicles, located in Burlington, Wisconsin. We are seeking a full-time CAD Designer to prepare drawings needed for sales proposals, bids, and production. Your expertise in AutoCAD will enable you to collaborate with your dynamic team and customers to create highly technical and sophisticated vehicles for various markets worldwide. See your designs come to life!

Job responsibilities include:

1. Utilizing Autodesk AutoCAD software to design new products or modifications to standard products in accordance with established engineering specifications regarding size, performance, or other requirements.
2. Performing Center of Gravity and payload analysis calculations.
3. Working closely with Sales and Project Managers.
4. Evaluating results and performing corrective re-designs if required.

OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: Candidates should have these qualifications:

1. Associate's degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school.
2. Two or more years of relevant experience.
3. Experience in automotive or vehicle systems is a plus.
4. Possess extreme attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to prioritize time-sensitive work and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
5. Be customer-focused with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
