Job description

Our client is looking for an Engineering Designer to join the team! This role is remote but must sit in the Richmond, VA area. The purpose of the Engineering Designer is to apply technical skills to design safe, cost effective and reliable distribution power facilities for residential, commercial and industrial projects. You will be preparing project and job packages that include material lists, requisitions, labor estimates, site drawings and construction drawings for installations of electrical and power distribution projects in a cost-effective manner. There is full training provided!

Must Haves:

• Ability to learn new software and processes quickly
• Completed AS or BS degree in Science, Math, Engineering or related

Plusses:

• Interest in the power/energy/utilities industry
• Proven experience with CAD or GIS software
