Job summary

MicroDental Laboratories in Louisville, KY is seeking a CAD/CAM Technician to design, print, and deliver dental restorations per client specifications using CAD software.

You will ensure milling equipment runs smoothly, troubleshoot with OEMs, and participate in quality control while meeting tight deadlines in a fast-paced lab environment.

Qualifications include dental lab experience, understanding dental anatomy, and proficiency with 3Shape and Microsoft Office; a high school diploma is required.

• Perform quality control of cases.
• Download and process intraoral scans.
• Assist in surgical guide production, nesting, printing, post-processing, polishing.
• All other duties as assigned.

We are looking for a determined, high energy, well-organized individual for the position of CAD/CAM Technician to join our ADL Dental Laboratory location in Louisville, Kentucky.

*Qualified candidates with 5+ years of relevant experience are eligible for a sign on bonus of $1000, after 120 days of continuous employment.*

Responsibilities:

Ability to read, interpret, design and print dental restorations to client's specifications by utilizing dental CAD software programs

Ensure timely milling machine and other equipment maintenance, regularly loading and unloading of mills

Troubleshoot machine repairs with outsourcing via phone and email, coordinating sending any needed repairs offsite with the OEM or repair vendors

Perform quality control of cases

Download and process Intraoral Scans.

Assist in surgical guide production with nesting, digital printing, post-processing using ultrasonic cleaning, and curing equipment, grinding, and polishing

All other duties as assigned or as otherwise required

Qualifications:

Previous working experience in a dental laboratory preferred

Understanding of dental anatomy and dental lab terminology

Ability to use computer programs such as Microsoft Office, 3Shape, and other internal software systems.

Ability to meet tight deadlines, while consistently producing quality restorations

Detail oriented to identify sub-standard work and diplomatically communicate for corrections

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

Ability to sit for extended periods of time

Have a positive, outgoing, and self-motivated attitude and the ability to work independently and in a team environment

Milling center environment, computer-based workstation. Benchwork with high speed and low-speed handpieces

High school diploma or equivalent required
