Job summary

Perry & Young Dental Lab is seeking a CAD CAM Technician Trainee in Traverse City, MI. This full-time position offers an 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM work schedule, with benefits that include health and dental insurance, vacation time, 401K with company contribution, and tuition reimbursement.

The ideal candidate will have strong computer skills and the ability to read and comprehend instructions. Responsibilities include scanning model work into our system and preparing units according to standard operating procedures.

Join National Dentex - a leading healthcare organization specializing in the dental industry! We offer a full spectrum of specialized products, services, and technologies to address any dental restoration need. Currently, we have several labs throughout the country. We are seeking to fill a number of key positions within our organization including this CAD CAM Technician Trainee opportunity at NDX DH Baker Dental Laboratory in Traverse City, MI.

The regular hours for this position are from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, and subject to change from time to time.

Primary Responsibilities And Essential Functions Of The Position

• Read prescriptions and specifications received from dentist.
• Scan model work into 3shape System following standard operating procedures.
• Ensure all steps are followed to maintain consistent, accurate results.
• Verify scan is correct and materials have been entered correctly.
• Read and review all paperwork on each case for correct information.
• Pre-stain units following SOP directions.
• As abilities progress, may include introduction to designing of products.
• All other duties as assigned.
