Job summary

Weller Pools & Aquatics is seeking a CAD/BIM Detailer for pool and water feature construction in Apopka, FL. You will translate field sketches into precise AutoCAD plans and validate tolerances with engineering to issue refined, buildable documents.

You should have 2–5 years of drafting experience, an associate diploma in CAD, and a portfolio of technical drawings. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SolidWorks, or MicroStation is required, with strong code awareness and communication.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or diploma in Drafting or CAD related field is required.
• 2–5 years of drafting experience in manufacturing, construction, or engineering environments.
• Portfolio with 3–5 examples demonstrating practical technical drawing expertise.
• Bonus: ADDA certification or Autodesk badges.

Responsibilities

• Produce clear 2D schematics, elevations, and coordinated 3D models using AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or Revit.
• Interpret sketches, engineering notes, and redlines to deliver fully constructible documents.
• Partner with architects, engineers, and project managers to confirm intent and constructability.
• Scrutinize dimensions, materials, and tolerances to eliminate costly mistakes.
• Maintain organized BIM/PLM libraries and ensure proper documentation standards.
• Turn around updates quickly and track approved client/field modifications.
