Job summary

The Food Bank of Eastern Michigan is seeking a Program Coordinator to support CACFP and other state and federally funded programs. You will liaise between kitchen staff, off-site FBEM staff, and program teams while delivering excellent customer service and ensuring compliance with program guidelines.

Responsibilities include coordinating training, managing data for reimbursements, and supporting audits. A strong background in social services and Office tools will help you succeed in this role.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of relevant work experience in social services or related field.
• Associate degree requirement; Bachelor’s preferred; Food Safety Certification desirable.

Responsibilities

• Create a positive work environment aligned with Food Bank values.
• Coordinate CACFP training and staff development.
• Handle administrative tasks for reimbursement programs and data entry.
• Assist in CACFP audits and annual monitoring plans.
• Schedule and conduct site visits; coordinate training locations.
