Job summary

Food Bank of Eastern Michigan is seeking a Program Coordinator to support state and federally funded programs, implement CACFP food distribution, and serve as liaison between culinary staff and program stakeholders.

The role requires coordination, data management, and collaborative service delivery across Eastern Michigan to advance the organization’s mission and strategic plan objectives.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent required; Bachelor's preferred.
• Food safety certification or ability to certify.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and good driving record.
• Familiar with assigned service area.
• Minimum two years of relevant work experience in social services or related field.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain a positive work environment in alignment with the Food Bank core values.
• Coordinate CACFP training; coach staff for success.
• Handle data entry and reimbursements for CACFP programs.
• Assist in CACFP audits and annual monitoring plans.
• Schedule and organize site trainings and random visits with notice.
