This Army Non-Appropriated Funds (NAF) vacancy seeks a full-time cook to plan and prepare meals in a CACFP-compliant program. You will handle a range of tasks from cleaning and prep to cooking meats, seafood, vegetables and baked goods following standard recipes.

You will work with Food and Nutrition Specialists on menus and orders, participate in on-the-job training of kitchen staff, and support youth cooking clubs and health programs while adhering to safety and risk management procedures.

Qualificações

• Minimum 6 months of work experience directly related to kitchen duties.
• English communication (verbal and written) required.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs regularly.

Responsabilidades

• Assist in planning and implementing CACFP-compliant food service program.
• Prepare and cook a variety of foods following standard recipes.
• Work with Food and Nutrition Specialists on menus and orders.
