Job summary

Raul Yzaguirre School for Success Charter in Aldine, TX is seeking a CACFP Food Service Assistant for the dinner program. The role supports the daily operation of the CACFP dinner service, helping prepare, serve, document, and clean up meals for after-school participants.

You will help ensure meals are served safely and in compliance with CACFP requirements, food safety standards, and school procedures. This part-time position offers a 10:30 AM–4:30 PM schedule, 195 days per year, with pay

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience in school nutrition or food service preferred.
• Experience in a school or youth program is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with preparing, serving, documenting, and cleaning up meals for after-school programming.
• Help ensure meals are served safely, efficiently, and in accordance with CACFP requirements.
• Maintain accurate meal counts and basic program documentation.
• Support food safety standards and organizational procedures.
