Job summary

Envision, Inc. seeks an Early Childhood Food and Support Assistant to prepare and serve nutritious meals for children in the Dallas center. The role combines food-service duties with classroom support to ensure daily routines run smoothly and children receive balanced meals.

Responsibilities include following CACFP guidelines, maintaining a clean kitchen, planning menus with CACFP adherence, and assisting teaching staff to support student learning and safety throughout the day.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of early childhood food preparation and nutrition.
• Ability to communicate effectively with students and staff.
• Skills in patience and remaining calm under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve nutritious, age-appropriate meals and snacks for children in the center.
• Follow CACFP requirements and Envision policies for food handling and serving.
• Maintain a clean, sanitary kitchen and manage inventory and supply orders.
• Provide classroom support and assist teaching staff to maintain ratios and daily activities.
