Job summary

Magellan Health in Fort Worth, TX seeks an ID Card Specialist to provide DoD ID card services at DEERS/RAPIDS sites, ensuring eligibility verification and proper issuance of CACs.

You will operate RAPIDS terminals, manage PIN resets, DEERS updates, and customer inquiries while upholding security and DoD regulations. U.S. citizenship and a favorable NACLC clearance are required. Experience in military HR is preferred; training provided.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ years’ experience in a Customer Service environment.
• HR background in Military Pay, Military Personnel, Travel Claims or Navy Transportation.
• Substitutions for HR background can be from similar experience gained in either the private sector or other Federal Agency.
• Proficient in both oral and written communication to communicate effectively and explain complex actions regarding military entitlements, allowances and collections.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Products, i.e. Word, Excel, Power Point.
• Must be U.S. citizen and possess favorably adjudicated Tier 3 (NACLC) security investigation.

Responsibilities

• Verifies identity and eligibility of DoD beneficiaries.
• Issues DoD Identification Cards and processes DEERS updates.
• Operates RAPIDS workstations and processes CACs.
• Assists customers with questions concerning identification card eligibility and DEERS.
• Accomplishes DEERS enrollment and updates; reconciles erroneous data; performs PIN resets.
• Maintains security controls for CAC and PKI certificates.
