Job summary

RoDa in Fort Lee, NJ seeks a detail-oriented ID Card/DEERS administrator to issue Geneva Convention Cards and CACs, screen beneficiaries, and brief military members and dependents on procedures.

You will maintain DEERS and RAPIDS, verify eligibility, and discuss entitlements under AFI 36-3026(I) and the RAPIDS Guide, while issuing authorizations for Commissary and Post Exchange and performing routine printer maintenance. Reports on activity will be prepared regularly.

Qualifications

• At least one year of experience in a customer service environment
• The ability to work at an accelerated pace
• US Citizen
• Proficient in English, both written and oral
• Proven customer service skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Adobe Acrobat 6.0+
• Familiarity with military environment is desirable

Responsibilities

• Controls and issues identification tags and Geneva Convention Cards to military members, deploying civilian employees and other eligible recipients
• Screens Soldiers, family members and dependents for purpose of visit
• Briefs Soldiers and family members on policies and procedures
• Maintains the Defense Enrollment Eligibility Reporting System (DEERS) and the RAPIDS
• Performs all ID Card and CAC issuance tasks including research of source documents and verification of eligibility
• Issues memorandums of authorization for use of Commissary and Post Exchange to eligible customers and Government ID Cards to eligible Government employees
• Performs routine maintenance on computers and printers
• Revises and prints correspondence and prepares weekly and monthly reports
