A leading healthcare organization seeks a Cabling and Hardware Technician to oversee data center operations in Glendale, Wisconsin. This hands-on role involves maintenance and project management of complex infrastructure systems. Candidates should possess a high school diploma or higher with relevant experience in electrical, mechanical, and network systems.
The Cabling and Hardware Technician will have experience in data center electrical, mechanical and network system operations and possess knowledge of enterprise data center operations, including state-of-the-art electrical distribution systems, static and rotary UPS, emergency standby generation, fire alarm/suppression and monitoring systems. The Cabling and Hardware Technician shall participate in coordination and completion of all significant planned and emergency maintenance events for the facility and ensure these activities are executed in a controlled and proven method to ensure the reliability of the critical loads supported by these systems. The Cabling and Hardware Technician should have the ability to interpret and execute Move, Add, Change, or Delete/Disconnection of services (MACD) requests for datacenters and have experience racking and cabling network devices.
The Senior Analyst is ultimately responsible for identifying, evaluating and executing operational strategies to ensure data center operations achieve the highest level of availability with zero downtime.
