Job summary

Amphenol Borisch Technologies in Mesa, AZ is seeking a Cable Assembly Operator to complete wire and cable assemblies accurately and efficiently. This role requires reading wire diagrams, blueprints, and schematics to assemble harnesses and integrate components.

You will train less experienced assemblers, use wire strippers, measure and inspect finished products, and perform soldering tasks as part of quality control.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• 1 year or more of experience with cable and wire assemblies.
• Must be able to read and understand wire diagrams, blue prints and schematics.
• Must be able to measure wires and assemblies and perform basic math.
• Must be able to use all tools required for wire harness assembly with accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Coach and train new, less experienced assemblers.
• Read wire diagrams, blue prints and schematics for cable assembly.
• Assemble wires into cables and harness systems per schematic drawings.
• Wrap and tie wires at designated points to form harness.
• Assemble electrical components, systems and/or subsystems.
• Use automatic and hand held wire strippers for wire ends.
• Measure wires and finished cable assemblies for quality.
• Solder parts or connections between parts.
• Solder, wrap, and coat wires to ensure proper installation.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by Supervisor.
