Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Ability to sit, stand, and walk regularly.
• Vision exam required for close work.
• Ability to read wire diagrams, blue prints, and schematics.
• Accurate use of measuring tools and basic math.
• Ability to use tools for wire harness assembly.
• Keen attention to detail and quality.
• Ability to bend, stoop and reach.
• Lift up to 35 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Read diagrams, blueprints and schematics for cable assembly.
• Assemble wires into cables and harness systems per drawings.
• Wrap and tie wires to form harness.
• Assemble electrical components and subsystems.
• Use wire strippers for ends.
• Measure wires and finished cables for quality.
• Solder parts and connections between parts.
• Solder, wrap, and coat wires for proper installation.
• Perform tasks as assigned by Supervisor.
